Why it’s good to have illustration in your Brand identity
Illustration is a much overlooked opportunity for further brand separation from the competition and from other brands. Most brands do not have graphic elements in their assets other than those in the logo. That’s an opportunity missed. Think hard about how illustration could be incorporated into your brand identity because it’s another way to get your company recognised and it allows your designers a greater palette of elements to work with when creating collateral etc. These elements can be used in video and animation too. If these elements are specifically designed to fit in with the brand then you are not going to get disparate elements that don’t quite gel together.
